For my video draft I collected many videos which revolved around my semester topic, fashion. I went to the mall and filmed lots of the clothes are areas I thought were styled well so they would be appealing to the eye in my video. Many of the tutorials for premiere helped me in editing my video and audio story. There were parts where I had to open the effect control panel for certain videos and change the scale and rotation of a few of my videos, so the tutorials benefitted me a lot. They also benefitted me in fade in and outs and overall adding cool affects in the process of editing. Right now, I’m happy with a lot of the content as far as my videos, but for the final I want to add an audio story so everything in my video story makes sense and has a storyline with value. My original idea in my storyboard was to interview people in my major, but I later realized that wasn’t the direction I wanted to take my story. Right now, my video story is a very rough draft since its primarily just video content with no real story line, but right now my focus was to get content for the video and base the audio around it after. For my final draft I want to follow my original storyline theme from my storyboard which is about fashion as a form of art which is why I took the videos of the display’s and the purpose of the audio. I think I can achieve this by adding text to the screen to create a story with the video of clothes behind and music about style/art playing in the background. Some text I might add to the screen could be questions like: “What if we were all confident enough to dress how we wanted without fear or judgement…” so it leaves the viewer to interpret the message in their own way and develop their own opinion and story. I think if I add these adjustments it will prepare my video for the final.
